Our staple introductory course, taught more than 40 times, and updated continuously for the most relevant and up-to-date information.
During the class:Together, we'll investigate evidence-based factors that are affecting the rise in popularity of Urban Agriculture. This includes an exploration of several existing urban farming approaches. The examples we cover will focus on NYC as well as on soilless farming practices - including hydroponics and aquaponics, two of the more popular methods for growing food in confined urban environments. Finally, we'll run through what opportunities exist for YOU to engage further in this emerging field.
After the class: You'll unlock access to our digital network of over 150 NYC-based researchers, career transitioners, & entrepreneurs. Benefits include: discounts to upcoming AgTech X classes & external conferences; shared news on sustainable food & agriculture trends; and relevant job postings.
