Investors! Help us build the food system of the future.

Over the last year-and-a-half, we’ve been driving hard to build the largest community in New York of innovators working to create a more sustainable and resilient food system.

In that time, we’ve hosted more than 2,000 visitors for 80+ classes and events, including June’s Alternative Funding Vehicles for Good Food & Agriculture with Change Food and December’s Good Food Spotlight with Slow Money NYC. Working with additional partners for the Agritecture Xchange in September, we brought together presenters from 23 NYC-based food & ag startups over the course of our 6-day event series.

Additionally, 30 coworking members have shared our space to develop their concepts and grow their networks. A range of individuals, from researchers to chefs to designers – plus a growing number of startup organizations – have made 40 Bushwick their home. Our current list includes:

GrowComputer | NexLoop | NATIVE | Ponix | HortLED | Vaughn Conlon Legal | FeedForward

Finally, through our membership in the NYC Ag Collective, we maintain close ties with 20 other pioneering urban agriculture organizations.

We’re proud of the varying approaches and focus areas represented by our member base. But as we enter 2019, it’s time to further diversify the value provided to our community by welcoming a new group: angel & impact-driven investors.

If you’re an investor or represent an investment group, we hope you’ll sign up below for our brand new quarterly newsletter where we’ll be highlighting the latest from our member organizations as well as feeding you relevant news & reports from the wider world of sustainable food & agriculture.
